How do I add a countdown?

Tap the plus button. Give it a title and a date, then choose whether it counts down to that day or up from it. Luna suggests an emoji and a color as you type — take them or pick your own.

What’s the difference between counting down and counting up?

A countdown shows the days until something: a trip, a due date, a launch. A count-up shows the days since something started: a sobriety date, a streak, a new job. Count-ups pick up milestones at 30, 60, 90, 100, 180, 250, 365, 500, and 1,000 days.

How do I add a widget?

Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap the plus button in the corner, and search for Luna. On the Lock Screen, touch and hold, tap Customize, then add a widget above or below the clock. Every widget can pin one countdown, follow one or more tags, or simply show whatever’s next.

Does Luna Days sync?

Yes, through your own private iCloud account, across your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Make sure iCloud Drive is on and you’re signed into the same Apple Account on each device. Widgets refresh promptly when you open the app; a change made on another device can take a little longer to reach a widget, because iOS controls how often widgets may reload.

Can I import birthdays?

Yes. In Settings, choose to import from Contacts and Luna lists the people who have a birthday, on your device, and imports only the ones you pick, tagging them on the way in. You can also import events from Calendar, or drag a line of text like “Dinner with Sam Sept 12” into Luna and let it read the date.

I deleted something by mistake.

Open Recently Deleted. Anything removed in the last 30 days can be restored, and it syncs back to your other devices.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Export a full JSON backup of everything Luna knows, or export an .ics calendar file that opens in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook.

Which devices does it need?

iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later, or Apple Watch running watchOS 10 or later. There is no Mac, web, or Android version.
